![]() The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) – in collaboration with more than fifty local and national leaders in law enforcement (including SROs), education, child development, school safety and public health – convened a focus group to develop an innovative model for this training. The COPS in Schools (CIS) training curriculum was developed by the National School Safety Center in collaboration with organizations such as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO), National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC), National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), Street Law, Inc., and the Yale Child Study Center, among others. CIS training for your agency is being managed and delivered by the Pennsylvania Regional Community Policing Institute (PRCPI). Training modules include:
